Four Kittens: Rescued Babies

In early June, MHS received a frantic call from concerned citizens that a momma cat had just moved her kittens to the window well in their backyard—two days prior.

The concerned people were leaving the country, the next day, and would not be able to help feed or take care of the little family.
Within the hour: volunteers were at the home and—30 minutes later—the medium haired black momma kitty was trapped, and the four babies were secure in a carrier.

Momma Cat

Poppy: she is a fiercely protective momma. She dotes on her babies and makes sure they are well fed and clean. Once her babies were weaned and she was spayed/vaccinated- Poppy found her forever home.

After losing her beloved girl- Cali- her new mom was working in the garden, and some dirt fell out of a pot. The dirt fell in the shape of a black cat and she just knew she had to adopt a new kitty from MHS (to honor Cali’s memory as Cali was adopted from MHS). It was a perfect match as Poppy will be treasured and loved by her new momma. She will never know another day of cold or hunger.

Meet The Kittens

Bob: he looks like a little Himalayan mixed sweetie.

Loves to be held and loves to play with jingle balls.

Georgie: he has tabby stripes on his legs and looks like a little Siamese cross.

The biggest of the litter- he is very playful and full of beans!

Patrick: he is a brown tabby- is the smallest of the litter and is a little tough guy.

Jackson: he is a beautiful soft grey tabby- so sweet and delicate. He’s a momma’s boy!!

All of the kittens received their FVRCP Vaccines, Rabies Vaccines, Multiple Deworming, SNAP Test, Microchip, and Neutered before they were adopted.
