We were so happy we got to be in store with our friends at GLOBAL PET FOODS BURNHAMTHORPE for this years SHOW US YOUR HEART campaign!
The annual event ran from February 10th to 26th, 2023, where donations were collected in store, on behalf of our rescue!

To help celebrate this season of love, we hosted a PHOTOBOOTH event at the store so everyone could have gorgeous photos of their pets to share this year!

SHOW US YOUR HEART CAMPAIGN 2023

Show Us Your Heart Campaign is an annual charity drive put on by the Global Pet Foods retail chain, and our friends at the Burnhamthorpe location in Mississauga picked us to be the recipients of their drive.

From February 10th to 26th, 2023, monetary donations were made through Global Pet Foods, mainly by customers of the Burnhamthorpe store. For every "heart"(donation) made, the Global Pet Foods would donation an addition $1 to us!

It was a phenomenal turn out this year!

$881.72  was raised on behalf of MHS!

We wanted to have some fun with this season of love, and Global Pet Foods Burnhamthorpe invited us to host a PHOTO BOOTH event in their store as well!
We invited all our friends to bring in their pets and have fun Valentine's Day/Love themed photos taken! For a small donation, everyone got all the photos our hobby Photographer, Val, took on the day!

CHARLIE
Charlie had a cardiologist appointment to assess the status of his mitral valve dysplasia.

BISHOP - In Foster Care
Bishop is FIV+ and has stomatitis; an inflammation of his mouth, that requires regular vet check ups to maintain his health.
He also has pellets lodged in his rib cage that sometimes cause breathing issues, but surgery would put his life at risk.

MANOR - In Foster
Manor is FIV+ and had many of his teeth removed due to infection of poor care prior. He now receives monthly vet checks to maintain his health.

JOHN SNOW - In Foster
John was a dumped senior cat who joined us in January 2023. He has a diagnosed thyroid condition that requires regular medication.

ANNIE - In Foster
Annie had untreated glaucoma, her eye pressure was to the point of bursting! Thankfully, she receives daily eye medication, and monthly vet checks now to make sure she is comfortable and healthy.
